Darryl McDonald is a driven business leader, currently at the helm of strategic business development, a number of operational units, and brand marketing at Teradata Corporation, the world’s largest provider of analytic data solutions.

A key member of Teradata’s leadership, McDonald passionately promotes market-oriented, innovative thinking throughout his many areas of responsibility at the company. As CMO, McDonald ensures the growth of the Teradata brand and directs marketing activities that continually increase shareholder value. During his tenure at Teradata, McDonald has launched and led the company’s global consulting services division, achieving double-digit growth each year. He also led the Americas retail industry sales division, growing market share, revenue, and profit. McDonald has nearly thirty years of experience in sales, consulting, and marketing in the areas of customer interaction and data analytics.

McDonald holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Georgia and serves on the university’s Board of Advisors for the Terry School of Business. Active in his local community, McDonald is a member of the “Distinguished Clown Corp,” a philanthropic organization that benefits Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta pediatric hospital. He and his wife live near Atlanta, GA.
